<p>Requisition #:209972</p> <p>Location:Boston, MA 02108</p> <p>Category:OT</p> <p>Salary:$45.00 per hour</p> <p>Position Details</p> <p>Our Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant for our VNA Certified division is responsible for provision of appropriate, timely and accurate treatments and/or screens of patients, for demonstrating consistency in clinical judgement and behavior, and for effectively communicating with both the Occupational Therapist and office staff.</p> <p>Pay</p> <p>$45 per hour/visit based on the pay point model</p> <p>Why Join Us?</p> <ul> <li>Flexible scheduling- full-time & part-time. If you meet the requirement under the twelve-month Measurement Period, you will also be eligible for your choice of major medical plans, dental and vision coverage. </li><li>Benefit eligibility can vary and is dependent upon employment status and employment location. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li> <p>Provide occupational therapy services as prescribed by the physician under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist</p> </li><li> <p>Follow policies and procedures and conforms to all applicable patient care standards, licensure regulations and state laws</p> </li><li> <p>Carries out appropriate techniques according to identified goals and treatment programs.</p> </li><li> <p>Administers care to ensure safety for the patient</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in coordination of services (including discharge planning), with health care teams, physicians, parent/guardians, nurses, and appropriate others.</p> </li><li> <p>Shares knowledge with others and facilitates learning experiences which result in improved performance of targeted learner groups</p> </li><li> <p>Documents according to policy and procedure and requires minimal supervision or instruction</p> </li><li> <p>Documents effectively resulting in no technical or clinical denials subsequent to review of documentation by payers</p> </li><li> <p>Update self on the patient's clinical condition</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain effective communication between Occupational Therapist, staff, health care team members, and family</p> </li><li> <p>Records hours worked, billable time and other required data according to Company policy</p> </li><li> <p>Serves as a resource consultant for Occupational Therapist and clinical staff</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Current, unrestricted state license as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant in the state of practice </li><li>Current CPR certification (with hands-on component) or able to obtain one </li><li>Current TB test or able to obtain one </li><li>Must have a drivers license and reliable transportation </li></ul> <p>Aveanna Healthcare is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages applicants from diverse backgrounds to apply.</p> <p>As an employer accepting Medicare and Medicaid funds, employees must comply with all health-related requirements in all relevant jurisdictions, including required vaccinations and testing, subject to exemptions for medical or religious reasons as appropriate.</p>
