<p>Janitor</p> <p>This is a long-term, full-time position supporting the DuPont Newark E&I Site. Work Schedule - Varies, occasional overtime is required.</p> <p>General Description</p> <p>Under direct supervision, assigned daily work, must complete weekly cleaning records. Job may require moderate to heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <p>The purpose of the janitor is to keep the facility sanitary and clean by:</p> <ul> <li>Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms and locker rooms, including fixtures; removing trash, replenish rest room supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, and soap) </li><li>Clean break rooms and refill supplies. </li><li>Sweep, mop and buff floors and steps; strip and wax floors as needed </li><li>Vacuum floors and clean carpets as needed </li><li>Window cleaning </li><li>Clean, dust and wipe furniture; empty / clean wastebaskets and trash containers </li><li>Assist with set up and cleanup of events; including moving furniture </li><li>Watch for safety issues (trip hazards, leaks / spills / lighting issues., etc.) </li><li>Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the site supervisor and ultimate direction from the site contract administrator. Reads and interprets instructions and plans work activities. </li><li>Performs other duties and activities as directed. </li></ul> <p>Observe and follow all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Pre-hire physical required </li><li>Reliable transportation </li><li>Ability to lift 50 pounds </li><li>Upholds all company expectations for Safety, Health, and Environmental standards, policies, and procedures. </li><li>Observe and follow all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment. </li></ul>
