<p>Plancorp is seeking a Senior Sales Advisor to join the team to help share our unique approach to financial planning and wealth alignment to our targeted customer base of high-net worth individuals. Given the nature of the role, flexibility is given where you need to be to make meaningful connections that generate new business while maintaining work-life balance. The ideal candidate has rich experience in both financial planning as well as new business development principles with a documented history of generating leads that turn into new clients from organic and strategic efforts.</p> <p>Who We Are</p> <ul> <li> <p>Nationally recognized fee-only RIA firm</p> </li><li> <p>St. Louis based; in business for 40 years</p> </li><li> <p>AUM approximately $7 billion</p> </li><li> <p>Serve individuals, families, business owners, non-profit and institutions;</p> </li><li> <p>Our ideal clients are high-net-worth and in need of complex financial planning and investment management</p> </li></ul> <p>Position Overview</p> <ul> <li> <p>Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, the Senior Sales Advisor's main responsibility is to establish strategies to identify, engage with, and secure outbound prospecting opportunities to Plancorp clients in St. Louis and beyond.</p> </li><li> <p>You'll consistently work with marketing and our wealth management teams to find and connect with our ideal clients in the world, effectively nurture them, and then seamlessly onboard them as a new client. You'll be a voice for the pain points of prospective clients and be responsible for identifying resources or opportunities within the company to solve them.</p> </li><li> <p>Prospect and help acquire new ideal Plancorp clients through networking, referrals, and effective relationship management.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve individual growth targets.</p> </li><li> <p>Serve as a thought leader in communicating our approach to ideal audiences through content, presentations, webinars, or other materials.</p> </li><li> <p>Become an evangelist of our newly developed sales model library, a set of visual models designed to differentiate our services and connect with prospects.</p> </li><li> <p>Dynamic experience and ability to shift between connecting with prospects analytically or empathically depending on their concerns or preferences.</p> </li><li> <p>Experimentation mindset to stick to a process enough to be able to effectively experiment within it to improve outcomes.</p> </li></ul> <p>What You Bring:</p> <ul> <li> <p>10+ years of experience in business development or sales</p> </li><li> <p>8+ years of related experience in financial planning/advising.</p> </li><li> <p>2+ years of experience with a CRM, preferably Salesforce</p> </li><li> <p>Series 65, bonus points if you already have or are interested in pursuing a CFP designation.</p> </li><li> <p>Socially driven, comfortable taking initiative to network & make new professional connections.</p> </li><li> <p>Comfortable communicating with prospective clients virtually and in person.</p> </li><li> <p>A Bachelors Degree in Finance, Business, Communication or related field preferred.</p> </li></ul> <p>Why Work With Us?</p> <p>You'll have the opportunity to learn from our team of experts, do work that touches people's lives, and be a part of our unique culture.
