<p>Griffin Health is currently seeking a Per Diem Chaplain to join our Spiritual Care and Education Department. The ideal candidate will bring a compassionate, interfaith approach to spiritual care for our diverse patient and staff community and contribute meaningfully to our mission of person-centered care.</p> <p>Main Function:</p> <p>The Chaplain will provide Interfaith spiritual care to patients, families, and staff across the hospital under the guidance of the Director of Spiritual Care and Education. Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Delivering direct spiritual support in a professional and compassionate manner.</p> </li><li> <p>Leading and facilitating spirituality and support groups, as well as additional programming as assigned.</p> </li><li> <p>Supporting community outreach, program development, and building partnerships within and beyond Griffin Health.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of all services provided.</p> </li><li> <p>Performing both in-hospital and on-call chaplaincy shifts, including weekends and holidays.</p> </li><li> <p>Offering clerical support and demonstrating computer literacy for administrative responsibilities.</p> </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's or Master's degree required.</p> </li><li> <p>Two units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) preferred (other relevant experience will be considered).</p> </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience in Emergency Department chaplaincy and in diversity & inclusion work is strongly preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Must have experience in:</p> </li><li> <p>Crisis Ministry</p> </li><li> <p>Interfaith Chaplaincy</p> </li><li> <p>Facilitating support and spirituality groups</p> </li></ul> <p>Key Attributes:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Compassionate presence and emotional maturity.</p> </li><li> <p>Flexibility and willingness to serve in a per diem/on-call capacity, including weekends.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</p> </li></ul> <p>Join our dedicated team and help us continue to serve the emotional and spiritual needs of the Griffin Health community.</p> <p>EOE/Minorities/Females/Vet/Disabled</p>
