As an LPN on the team, you will assist fellow caregivers in providing exceptional, top-quality care to these patients. In this role, you can make a lasting difference in the lives of patients, all while enhancing your nursing skills through hands-on experience and numerous educational resources offered within the Cleveland Clinic system.</p> <p>A caregiver in this position works nights from 7:00PM - 7:30AM, including every other weekend and 3 holidays per year.</p> <p>A caregiver who excels in this role will:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Collect, document and report patient data and observations.</p> </li><li> <p>Implement care plans as directed by an RN and contribute to care plan revisions.</p> </li><li> <p>Administer medications and/or treatments authorized by a provider and observe patients for adverse reactions.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform routine laboratory tests.</p> </li><li> <p>Educate patients and family members.</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program</p> </li><li> <p>Current Ohio license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)</p> </li><li> <p>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li>One year of patient care experience </li></ul> <p>Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
