<p>Kindergarten Long-Term Substitute Teacher (Maternity Leave Coverage August 21- October 15)</p> <p>We are seeking a certified Early Childhood/Elementary Teacher to cover a kindergarten maternity leave. This well-supported classroom has established routines and a thoughtfully organized learning environment that promotes academic and play-based learning.</p> <p>Classroom Support & Environment: The classroom is arranged into multiple centers to maximize learning and exploration.</p> <p>A dedicated paraprofessional will remain in the classroom to provide continuity, assist with instruction, and support classroom management.</p> <p>The substitute teacher will have the opportunity to collaborate with the teacher on leave and benefit from a strong support system within the school.</p> <p>Responsibilities: Deliver daily instruction aligned with the kindergarten curriculum.</p> <p>Implement the following programs:</p> <p>Heggerty Phonemic Awareness</p> <p>Fundations Phonics</p> <p>Making Meaning (ELA)</p> <p>Bridges Math</p> <p>Mystery Science</p> <p>Second Step (Social-Emotional Learning)</p> <p>Attend weekly team meetings with the kindergarten team and principal.</p> <p>Participate in a PLC (Professional Learning Community) block with the academic interventionist.</p> <p>Maintain classroom routines, expectations, and a positive learning environment.</p> <p>Qualifications: Valid Early Childhood or Elementary teaching certification required.</p> <p>Experience with or willingness to learn the listed curriculum programs.</p> <p>Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.</p> <p>Ability to foster a nurturing and structured environment for young learners.</p> <p>If you are a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic educator looking to step into a well-supported kindergarten classroom, we encourage you to apply!</p>
