Team members with this classification report to the production supervisor. The production supervisor will assign Production Worker team members to work a variety of positions throughout the facility. Production Worker team members will primarily be assigned to work in the Cassette department. This individual must be a self-motivated team player.</p> <p>Duties:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Follows all plant and machine safety procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Comply with this facility's environmental policy and environmental management system.</p> </li><li> <p>Is trained and licensed to operate lift trucks.</p> </li><li> <p>Trained to operate the Shredder and Baler.</p> </li><li> <p>Trained to operate the Strapper/Wrapper.</p> </li><li> <p>Understands all aspects of the Cassette operations.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures proper bag and corrugated are used.</p> </li><li> <p>Set up machine.</p> </li><li> <p>Operates machine to standard or above.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs product quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process.</p> </li><li> <p>Able to identify and quickly correct and or segregate quality defects.</p> </li><li> <p>Properly labels/stamps cassettes.</p> </li><li> <p>Accurately completes production work orders.</p> </li><li> <p>Operate lift truck to stage materials as needed (pallets, bags, corrugated, etc.)</p> </li><li> <p>Performs preventative maintenance on the machine and completes supporting documents.</p> </li><li> <p>Cleans and organizes machine and work area to maintain a safe work environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as specified by supervisor.</p> </li></ul> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li> <p>Inspect liners and various materials prior to assembling finished cassette.</p> </li><li> <p>Place liners and heating blankets inside corrugate material prior to folding.</p> </li><li> <p>All cassette operator task must be done while maintaining the highest safety, best food practices and quality.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in the daily production through Production Work Orders. (This includes the documentation of how many cassettes were made to how many bags and corrugated were scrapped during a production run.
