<p>Aqua Finance is seeking a Business Intelligence Reporting Intern to support the development and enhancement of data reporting and analytics solutions. In this role, you'll work hands-on with Power BI, SSRS, and SQL to build dashboards and reports, support data source transitions, and help automate monthly reporting processes in partnership with the FP&A team. This internship offers meaningful, project-based experience for students interested in data analytics, business intelligence, and transforming data into actionable insights.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Contribute to a reporting development project by building Power BI dashboards and SSRS reports using SQL to support business decision-making </li><li>Participate in a data migration project to transition existing SSRS management reports from current Snowflake data sources to the Snowflake Common data tables </li><li>Collaborate on a reporting automation project with the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team to develop Power BI and SSRS reports that streamline monthly reporting processes </li></ul> <p>Technical Skills</p> <ul> <li>Apply and strengthen SQL coding skills through real-world reporting and data validation </li><li>Develop Power BI and SSRS reporting skills by creating dashboards and management reports used by the business </li><li>Gain exposure to Snowflake and modern data architecture as part of a data transition project (prior experience helpful but not required) </li><li>Build professional communication and collaboration skills by working cross-functionally with FP&A and analytics teams </li></ul> <p>Required Education And Experience</p> <ul> <li>Currently enrolled at a University or College at a minimum of Junior Undergraduate Status </li><li>Pursuing a degree in business intelligence, data analytics, information systems, business, finance, computer science, or a related field </li><li>Completion of relevant coursework related to your field of study prior to the start of the internship </li><li>Strong attention to detail and effective verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Internship will run from mid-May through mid-August </li><li>Ability to commit to 40 hours per week during the internship period </li><li>Availability to participate for at least 9 weeks of the 12-week program </li><li>This is an onsite internship; interns will be required to work at our corporate location in Wausau, WI for the duration of the internship. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Gain</p> <ul> <li>Hands-on, real-world experience supporting business intelligence and data reporting initiatives in a corporate environment </li><li>Mentorship and professional development through collaboration with experienced analytics, FP&A, and business professionals </li><li>Opportunities to build your professional network by working alongside data, finance, and technology professionals across the organization </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>While performing the duties of this position, the employee regularly uses a computer and may be required to sit, stand, walk, see, communicate, and handle or manipulate objects or controls. The role involves extended periods of working at a computer and may require occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling of up to 20 pounds.</p> <p>This is primarily an office-based position with a significant portion of the work performed at a computer.</p>
