<p>Responsibilities</p> <p>The Resident Engagement Director leads the Resident Engagement team in building meaningful, quality experiences for Coterie residents. This person promotes healthy living by managing the day-to-day operations of the engagement calendar, overseeing fitness floor operations and creating programming that reflects the resident's interests and embraces the holistic well-being approach (spirit, mind and body).</p> <ul> <li>Provide direct leadership for group exercise, healthy living programs, and fitness floor staff. </li><li>Manage healthy relationships with residents, creating a culture focused on health and well-being. </li><li>Manage the Atria Resident Discovery tool (ARD), including completing Atria Resident Discovery surveys, monthly event calendar, and all actions related to Resident Engagement for all residents. </li><li>Deliver refined cultural and lifelong learning experiences using the monthly program calendar, incorporating the community events and programs, in coordination with the Support Center staff. </li><li>Lead all aspects of the Resident Engagement Program, with a focus on the six dimensions of engagement. </li><li>Work with other departments to deliver a high-quality experience for residents. </li><li>Champion inclusion activities, strategies, and initiatives. </li><li>Cultivate relationships with residents, family members and staff. </li><li>Build relationships in order to create small communities. </li><li>Contribute to community growth by participating in sales activities. </li><li>Manage departmental needs and goals within targeted budgets. </li><li>Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, developing, and evaluating assigned staff. </li><li>Manage and lead best practices through engagement of staff team; hold staff accountable for high-quality results. </li><li>Serve as a Manager on Duty (MOD) on a scheduled basis, per guidance from the General Manager. </li><li>May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned. </li><li>Event Planner </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, Education or related field. </li><li>Well-being and fitness certification from one of the preferred agencies (NASM, NCFS, AFPA, ISSA, ACE, or ASFA) is strongly preferred, with a focus on nutrition, senior fitness, health coaching and/or personal training. </li><li>Experience in exclusive local cultural engagement programs, and event management/operations is preferred. </li><li>Minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience preferred. </li><li>An understanding for exercise, nutrition, healthy living and helping others live a healthier lifestyle is preferred. </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication, including public speaking skills in order to expand community partnerships. </li></ul> <p>We create communities where employees thrive in their work, helping our residents thrive in their homes.</p> <p>We strive to enhance the lives and exceed the expectations of those we serve every day.
