<p>Job Description:</p> <p>SUNY Cobleskill Ag & Tech is seeking qualified individuals to teach 100- and 200-level courses in Psychology, to both Applied Psychology majors and the general student body. Sample courses include:</p> <p>PSYC 111 | General Psychology (C) Consideration of the methods and points of view involved in the scientific study of the psycho-physical basis of human behavior with emphasis on maturation, intelligence, development, learning, motivation, personality, and individual differences. [Fall, Spring, Summer] Gen Ed Social Sciences, Gen Ed Comp-Critical Thinking & Reasoning, Gen Ed Comp-Information Literacy, Liberal Arts/Sciences Elective [3 credits] [3 contact hours]</p> <p>PSYC 231 | Social Psychology (C) The scientific study of the activities and behavior of the individual as influenced by other individuals, society, culture and environment. Prerequisite: PSYC 111 [Fall, Spring] Liberal Arts/Sciences Elective [3 credits] [3 contact hours]</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications: Master's Degree in Psychology or closely related field</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications: Experience teaching at the college level</p> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>This is a part-time temporary position, and the courses are scheduled both on campus and occasionally online.</p> <p>The College continuously recruits for applicants interested in Adjunct Faculty positions.
