<p>Job Title: Electrical Engineer</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and testing of electrical components, equipment, and hardware for our systems. This role involves applying engineering concepts and practices to motion control hardware, laser control hardware, and electro-mechanical device controls, along with supporting PLC-based hardware and software.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Evaluate and select components that provide technically superior and cost-effective solutions. </li><li>Collaborate with suppliers to develop component specifications using standard engineering practices. </li><li>Support the Engineering team in new product and feature development. </li><li>Review customer-specific requirements and design, test, and document unique solutions for existing systems. </li><li>Create testing and qualification protocols to validate and verify designs. </li><li>Implement and maintain documentation, including Bill of Material maintenance and schematics, using the ERP system and AutoCAD Electrical software. </li><li>Provide technical support to manufacturing and service personnel. </li><li>Develop work procedures and documentation for best practices and lead training sessions for company personnel. </li><li>Advise customers on machine usage and installation. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. </li><li>3+ years' experience with capital equipment, industrial machines, and/or automated equipment. </li><li>3+ years' experience in Electrical Design; proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical preferred. </li><li>3+ years' experience in a product development and manufacturing environment. </li><li>3+ years' experience selecting hardware and electrical components for machines. </li><li>Knowledge of PLCs, primarily hardware-related, with limited programming/software involvement. </li></ul> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/yr.</p> <p>Prima Power</p> <p>Laserdyne LLC offers a comprehensive suite of benefits to promote health and financial</p> <p>security for you and your family.
