<p>Kforce is working with a client in the Saint Louis, Missouri (MO) area that is seeking a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant compiles and analyzes financial data, prepares journal entries, reconciles accounts, and ensures compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Analyze financial data and prepare reports </li><li>Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies </li><li>Process journal entries and support month-end close </li><li>Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls </li><li>Assist with management reporting and process improvements </li><li>Use advanced Excel and accounting software for data analysis* Bachelor's degree in Accounting </li><li>3-5 years of general accounting experience </li><li>Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, Workday experience is a plus </li><li>Strong communication and problem-solving skills </li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines </li></ul>
