You would be responsible for oversight of operations on the evening shift in the Automated Lab.</p> <p>What you will do:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Performs a variety of complex laboratory tests and procedures on neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients according to established standards: maintains and/or calibrates scientific equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides teaching and education to lab students and other personnel.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for maintaining inspection readiness at all times.</p> </li></ul> <p>Position Hours:</p> <ul> <li>32 hours, Evening Shift, every other weekend; rotating holidays </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology</p> </li><li> <p>Must have a minimum of 5 years experience; Must have an understanding of all laboratory sections as a generalist that may include: Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Microbiology, immunology, and urinalysis. Knowledge of specimen processing, specimen handling and phlebotomy are needed.</p> </li><li> <p>MT-ASCP</p> </li><li> <p>Exhibits strong interpersonal skill; technically competent. Ability to adequately use, or learn to use, the department's computerized system and its associated devices. Adaptability and flexibility necessary for work schedule and patient care requirements.
