Partners with senior business leaders to manage P&L forecasting and planning for critical strategic initiatives including but not limited to international growth, portfolio expansion, and e-commerce. Supports corporate development function with industry benchmarking, corporate valuation analysis, and development of executive presentation materials. Designs and prepares various reports as required and assists with ad hoc analyses and projects as needed.</p> <p>Job Details</p> <ul> <li>For assigned area, facilitates the budget/forecasting process including distribution of assumptions, gathering of inputs, data validation in close collaboration with functional teams 25% </li><li>Formulates recommendations on company strategic projects based on robust financial analysis 25% </li><li>Performs public company analysis including facilitating peer benchmarking, conducting valuation analyses, creation of complex financial models including returns metrics (e.g. IRR, NPV, DCF, etc.), and preparation of presentation materials for management 25% </li><li>Assists with ad hoc analyses, projects, and presentations as requested by senior leadership 25 </li><li>Strong written and oral communication skills </li><li>Knowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles) </li><li>Ability to organize, prioritize, and to be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills </li><li>Creative ability to access information from different sources and pull it together for analyses and presentations </li><li>Ability to meet deadlines and effectively communicate timelines </li><li>Detail-oriented - must be able to detect errors and identify trends </li><li>Ability to develop a thorough knowledge of the company to understand how decisions affect other areas </li><li>Advanced word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications skills </li><li>Mastery of financial modeling techniques inclusive of 3-statement model construction, valuation techniques, and peer benchmark analysis </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, or related field required. Minimum of 3-5 years in financial </li></ul> <p>analysis/budgeting or strategy roles</p> <ul> <li>Ideal candidate has previous experience in investment banking, consulting, or other corporate </li></ul> <p>finance/corporate strategy environments</p> <ul> <li>An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. </li></ul>
