<ul> <li>This position engages in the mission of the Finance and Records Department to bring souls unto Christ by serving members, leaders and employees globally in a simple and efficient way </li><li>This position exists to provide analysis and complex transaction processing for Global Accounts Payable, in addition to maintaining a good working relationships to AP stake holders </li><li>Processes and analyzes accounts payable transactions </li><li>Verifies and pays invoices or employee expenses, executes check or payment runs, reconciles balances and maintains records </li><li>Ensures transactions are timely and accurate, and that expenses are accurately coded and allocated </li><li>Responds to inquiries from employees and researches and resolves concerns or discrepancies </li><li>Assists in year-end or monthly/quarterly accounting procedures, including 1099 issuance </li><li>May have a working relationship to banks, business analysts and ICS employees for testing new tools and verifying receipt of payments </li><li>Handles complex issues </li><li>Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to subordinate group </li><li>May act as "lead" </li></ul> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (4 years education and experience combined) </li><li>2 years of related professional experience </li><li>Performs work with a high degree of latitude and possesses expert knowledge of subject matter </li><li>Customer service skills </li><li>Ability to identify and seek needed information/research skills </li><li>Detail oriented </li><li>Ability to meet deadlines </li><li>Mathematical skills </li><li>Clerical skills </li><li>Basic accounting skills </li></ul>
