<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Full time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Day Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center, Hartford, CT $8,000 Sign-on Bonus</p> <p>Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an experienced Medical Technologist, located at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, to join our team of mission-driven healthcare innovators. You would be responsible for providing highly skilled analysis of blood, fluids, and tissue samples.</p> <p>What you will do:</p> <ul> <li>Determines normal and abnormal components of body fluids by conducting chemical analyses of blood, urine, spinal fluids, and gastric juices. </li><li>Analyzes blood cells by counting and identifying cells, using microscopic techniques and procedures </li><li>Ensures operation of analyzers and all laboratory equipment by calibrating; completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques. </li></ul> <p>Position Hours:</p> <ul> <li>40 hours, Day Shifts, rotating wknds/holidays </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>BS in Medical Technology or AS in Medical Lab Technology </li><li>MT-ASCP or MLT-ASCP.
