We offer a supportive team environment, opportunities for skill development, and a hybrid schedule after your first 90 days.</p> <p>We're looking for a detail-oriented Billing & Collections Specialist who enjoys problem-solving, thrives in a collaborative setting, and takes pride in delivering accurate financial work.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <p>Customer & Order Setup</p> <ul> <li>Import daily purchase orders via EDI into the Sage ERP system. </li><li>Collect and review credit references for new customers. </li><li>Maintain accurate customer information (contacts, shipping locations, terms). </li><li>Support customers by phone and assist with order placement. </li></ul> <p>Order Processing & Invoicing</p> <ul> <li>Generate invoices for validated shipments. </li><li>Verify invoice accuracy by cross-referencing PO's and pricing. </li><li>E-mail invoices to customers. </li><li>Process Retailer and eCommerce orders. </li></ul> <p>Cash Application, Collections & Dispute Resolution</p> <ul> <li>Post customer payments daily and resolve payment discrepancies. </li><li>Manage delinquent accounts, send aging reports, and conduct follow-ups. </li><li>Reconcile AR aging reports and customer statements. </li><li>Issue credit memos, sales returns, and chargeback invoices. </li><li>Investigate unauthorized deductions and collaborate with customers/sales teams for resolution. </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For:</p> <p>Required Skills & Experience</p> <ul> <li>3+ years of hands-on A/R, collections, or high-volume receivables experience. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. </li><li>Ability to analyze numbers, reconcile accounts, and problem-solve independently. </li><li>Excellent communication skills and professionalism with customers. </li><li>Beginner to intermediate excel knowledge to support reconciliations and error identification. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred. </li><li>Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment & Physical Requirements</p> <p>This role is primarily office-based with standard computer and phone use.</p>
