Ensures rate quotes are fair and equitable to clients, profitable to RGA Re, and completed within required time frames. Under supervision, conducts marketing. Maintains strong client relationships by providing underwriting solutions to client issues and communicating underwriting decisions, compromises and solutions in a professional, client-focused manner.</p> <p>What you will do</p> <ul> <li> <p>Evaluates risk and underwrites group reinsurance products under the pricing and underwriting guidelines established by RGA. Analyzes data, evaluates characteristics of reinsurance arrangements, applies relevant experience, considers use of manual rates. Ensures that RGA can administer the client's proposed reinsurance. Develops and maintains relationships with clients, and provides service.</p> </li><li> <p>With supervision, conducts marketing and assists with the following client account responsibilities: maintains relationships, services delivery, reporting to and from clients.</p> </li><li> <p>Contributes to Group Re profitability by analyzing/assessing assigned client profitability through experience and expense analysis and attention to assigned account performance.</p> </li><li> <p>Facilitates and assists on UW value added services for assigned and other accounts.</p> </li><li> <p>Participates in special projects, committees, and meetings.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains regular and predictable attendance.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent related work experience required</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Science or Business preferred</p> </li><li> <p>2+ Years group stop loss underwriting experience or direct underwriting experience required</p> </li><li> <p>2+ Years marketing experience preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to be flexible when needed, take initiative, and demonstrate accountability. required</p> </li><li> <p>Intermediate oral and written communication skills demonstrating ability to share and impart knowledge. Basic negotiating and persuasion skills when working with clients to present quotes and/or solutions and to resolve issues/problems required</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to quickly adapt to new methods, work under tight deadlines and stressful conditions. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan.
