<p>SUMMARY</p> <p>This position will be responsible for all aspects of material used by the factory, such as receiving material, verifying its accuracy, and allocating the material to operators by schedule and/or request.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITES</p> <ul> <li>Unload material from trucks (bar stock, equipment, tools, etc.) </li><li>Receive and put away raw material </li><li>Issue and move bar stock to shop floor </li><li>Assist with inventory count </li><li>Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on forklift truck(s) </li><li>Utilize computer software to create PO's for work orders that require outside plating services </li><li>With the assistance of a forklift, move material, supplies, and scrap bins to designated locations, as needed. </li><li>Assist in warehouse housekeeping </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>3-5 years Warehouse and Receiving Materials (metals) experience. </li><li>Forklift and pallet jack operating experience and certification required. </li><li>Ability to work with minimal supervision. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>The employee performing this work will be expected to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 40 pounds. The position requires walking and standing for long periods of time.</p> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT</p> <p>While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is exposed to airborne particles and chemicals.
