<p>Job Ref: 169999 Location: Aurora, CO 80011 Location Flexibility: Onsite Category: CDL Driver Job Type: Full-time Job Status: Non-exempt Pay Basis Hourly Pay Rate $22.25 Brand UNFI</p> <p>Position Pays - $21.25 per hour</p> <p>Purpose</p> <p>Responsible for moving tractors and trailers on the premises, starting refrigeration units, preparing trucks for deliveries.</p> <p>Essential functions and basic duties:</p> <ul> <li>Sets tractor trailer combinations for loading product scheduled for delivery. </li><li>Starts refrigeration units; checks units periodically. </li><li>Pulls loaded trailers away from dock and secures trailer doors. </li><li>Coordinates loading schedules with warehouse supervisors. </li><li>Ensures trucks have received pre-trip inspection prior to driver departure. </li><li>Notifies drivers of potential late load situations. </li><li>Ensures returning trucks are refueled, if necessary. </li><li>Assists warehouse personnel with unloading/cleaning trailers. </li><li>Operates powered industrial equipment such as electric pallet jacks and forklifts, as necessary. </li><li>Performs other duties as necessary and required. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Education/Certification:</p> <p>Must be able to pass a written exam and road test.</p> <p>Required Knowledge:</p> <p>Must have an understanding of related computer applications.</p> <p>Good judgement is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.</p> <p>Experience Required:</p> <p>Preferably a minimum of one year verified experience operating a tractor trailer.
