We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us.</p> <p>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:</p> <ul> <li>Enforcing all pool rules </li><li>Preventing injuries and minimizing hazardous situations </li><li>Providing patron surveillance </li><li>Handling all injuries, accidents, and emergency situations as they arise (contact Aquatics Manager or Head Lifeguard for any assistance) </li><li>Instruct various ages in swimming, water safety, and other aquatic programming </li><li>Completing assigned cleaning duties </li><li>Attending in-service training as scheduled </li><li>Passing the American Red Cross Lifeguard Training and First Aid, CPR/AED for Lifeguards </li><li>Exceed guest expectations and deliver world class guest service </li><li>Completing other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Must be at least 16 years of age </li><li>Must be able to pass an in the water swim test </li><li>Ability to work weekends and evenings </li><li>Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations </li><li>Excellent customer service skills </li></ul> <p>WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</p> <ul> <li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, swim, sit, talk, and hear </li><li>The employee is required to climb, have balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl </li><li>The employee must occasionally lift, pull, push and/or move heavy items </li><li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus </li><li>May work in outside weather conditions, while performing job duties </li><li>Minimal duties are performed in direct sunlight, and may be exposed to hot, wet, and humid conditions </li><li>Will be exposed to outside temperatures ranging from 80-100 degrees </li><li>Will be exposed to cleaning chemicals that must be handled with extreme caution </li></ul>
