<p>Responsibilities</p> <p>What You'll Do (Position Description)</p> <p>As a Housekeeper you will uphold a conscientious, thorough, self-motivated day-to-day mindset. You are responsible for maintaining a clean and healthy patient care environment that will surely evoke smiles and thank you's from patients and staff alike. In order to uphold a sanitary, safe and risk-free environment you will work within OSHA regulations. You will also be responsible for responding to ad-hoc requests in a timely manner and initiating communication by walkie-talkies.</p> <p>Contributions to Team Success (Job Duties/Responsibilities)</p> <ul> <li>Maintain assigned areas such as, but not limited to: patient rooms, common areas on and off the units, waiting areas, hallways and business offices </li><li>Clean and maintain carts and equipment used, replenishing supplies, collecting waste, sanitizing garbage receptacles </li><li>Disinfect rooms, furniture, equipment and supplies, using appropriate processes and germicides for cleaning equipment </li><li>Perform other Housekeeping duties, turn mattresses, clean unit/department kitchenettes, sweep, mop as needed </li><li>Work efficiently and effectively under little supervision </li></ul> <p>What's in it For You?
