Join our exceptional team today and help shape the future of energy!</p> <p>Position Specific Description</p> <p>Florida Power & Light is seeking an experienced individual for its Central Maintenance Planning team to support overhaul planning of the Combined Cycle Power Generation Fleet.</p> <p>The ideal candidate shall be well organized and process oriented, have a bias for action, and excel at building relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Routine interface with site personnel, fleet engineering, and the central maintenance organization is a must.</p> <p>This position requires the capacity to manage a large workload, flexibility when priorities shift, and drive to meet (or beat) established Major Maintenance Process commitments. This role will be responsible for development of job specific Mechanical Maintenance Work Order packages for Overhaul Projects by (but not limited to):</p> <ul> <li>Performing jobsite walk-downs and scope validation </li><li>Supporting procurement of materials and services </li><li>Develop procedures for execution of work. </li><li>Establishing accurate work order cost and schedule estimates </li></ul> <p>The following credentials are highly desired for the position:</p> <ul> <li>Prior Power Plant Maintenance and/or Planning experience </li><li>Experience with IBM Maximo </li><li>Technical procedure writing proficiency </li><li>Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) </li><li>Bachelor's in Engineering </li><li>Possession of a Six Sigma Quality Belt </li></ul> <p>This position will be based out of our Manatee Plant in Parrish, FL.
