Works in staffing during periods of excessive backlog.</p> <p>Responsible for ongoing education/training of Cash Specialists. Work is of a highly confidential nature.</p> <p>Open and follow up on service issue tickets with the Clearinghouse for missing ERAs.</p> <p>Open and follow up on service issue tickets related to Patient Accounting System.</p> <p>Assist with unidentified check research.</p> <p>Assist with Payment Posting research requests received from other departments within Business Operations.</p> <p>Navigation and operation of multiple patient accounting systems simultaneously.</p> <p>Work closely with Accounting Department and other areas within Business Operations.</p> <p>Assists with any duties assigned by Management.</p> <p>Able to multi-task while still concentrating on job at hand.</p> <p>Work Schedule: 80 hours bi-weekly</p> <p>Qualifications /Training:</p> <p>Computer skills required: Excel, Outlook, Word</p> <p>Experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle required</p> <p>Preferred experience in balancing accounts</p> <p>Preferred experience in processing Healthcare insurance remits</p> <p>Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) from an accredited school preferred </li></ul> <p>Founded in 1906, McLeod Health is a locally owned and managed, not for profit organization supported by the strength of more than 900 members on its medical staff and more than 2,900 licensed nurses.
