This position will report directly\nto the WSA Deputy Director.? The Administrator IIII responsibility is to help streamline and oversee Water\nand Science Administration (WSA) operations, assist with constituent services,\nand provide legislative support for the 90-day Maryland General Assembly\nsession. The incumbent in this position also assists the WSA Director's Office\nand Office of the Secretary with special projects and high priority tasks by\ndeveloping oral testimony and talking points, presentations, conducting\nresearch, developing regulatory packages, identifying Federal Priorities, and\nworking directly with the programs to bring projects to completion. \n</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>\nApplicants must satisfy the minimum\nqualifications to be considered for this position and move forward in the\nhiring process. ?Please read all requirements before applying. \nEducation: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.\nExperience: Six years of administrative staff or professional work. \nNotes: \n1. Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university for each year up to four years of the required experience. \n2. Candidates may substitute the possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two years of experience in administrative staff or professional work for the required experience. \n3. Candidates may substitute the possession of a Master's degree from an accredited college or university for the required experience. \n4. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer involving staff work related to the administration of rules, regulations, policy, procedures and processes, or overseeing or coordinating unit operations or functioning as a staff assistant to a higher ranking commissioned officer on a year-for-year basis for the required experience. \n</p> <p>DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Please note that your answers to the\nsupplemental questionnaire must correspond to the information provided on your\napplication to receive credit.\n\n\n\n Demonstrate\n experience running operations and administering complex programs.\n Knowledge\n of Maryland Legislative Process, particularly preparing fiscal notes for\n proposed legislation.\n Experience\n in drafting and reviewing regulations.\n Customer?service\n experience.\n\n\n?\n</p> <p>LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS</p> <p>Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle.
