<p>Master Scheduler / Materials Supervisor | $95K-$115K | Palo Alto</p> <p>Own the master production schedule and ensure materials, capacity, and demand stay aligned to deliver on time across multiple business units. As part of TransDigm Group (TDG), we combine the agility of a focused operation with the scale and impact of a global industry leader.</p> <p>WHAT YOU'LL OWN (Position Summary)</p> <p>Leads all planning activities for multiple business units. Responsible for releasing all finished good work orders. Supervises the planners and their daily activities related to sub-assemblies. Serves as single point of contact for each business unit leader under their umbrella. Ensures timely delivery of finished goods for sales orders.</p> <p>JOB DUTIES (Responsibilities)</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for all activities related to the formulation, generation, and status of the master production schedule. </li><li>Conducts and manages the weekly/monthly schedule attainment meeting ensuring that all parties are aligned to the required completion dates for our customers. </li><li>Establishes guidelines for determining planning factors such as order policies and planning lead times. </li><li>Release all finished good production orders and works closely with the procurement team to ensure component availability for Operations. </li><li>Trains planners and determines best practices for the stock room team </li><li>Leads NPI for the Supply Chain organization </li><li>Performs excess and obsolete (E&O) analyses and coordinates with the appropriate functions to establish inventory reserve values and to initiate disposition of the material. </li><li>Monitors, compares, and reports department performance and develops corrective action plans </li><li>Manages a team of planners and sets their daily/weekly/monthly goals </li><li>Establishes KPIs for each planner to measure their performance against company targets </li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) with 6-10 years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment </li><li>Strong experience in MRP-based planning systems </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, with the ability to analyze data and produce reports to support decision-making for production control </li><li>Prior leadership or team lead experience is a plus </li></ul> <p>WHAT WE OFFER</p> <p>Salary based on experience: $95,000 to $115,000</p> <ul> <li>Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage </li><li>Generous 401(k) match </li><li>Commuter benefits within Stanford Research Park </li><li>Complimentary EV charging </li><li>Paid time off and holidays </li></ul> <p>OUR WORKPLACE COMMITMENT</p> <p>We value the unique and diverse skills, qualities, and backgrounds that each employee brings to MPP, and we respect each employee as an integral member of our growing team.
