<p>Wiginton Fire Systems is seeking experienced fire sprinkler foremen to lead and train teams in the installation of water-based fire protection systems, including fire sprinklers, standpipes, and fire pumps.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead and train the installation of fire protection systems </li><li>Execute fire sprinkler design plans </li><li>Manage materials delivered to job sites </li><li>Use hand and power tools, including cutting and threading pipe </li><li>Collaborate with general contractors, other trades, and field supervisors to ensure smooth installations </li><li>Maintain accurate daily documentation </li><li>Oversee and mentor helpers and coaches </li><li>Read and understand drawings and blueprints </li><li>Test piping systems for leaks and read gauges </li><li>Climb ladders and scaffolds, working at heights exceeding 40 feet </li></ul> <p>About Us:</p> <p>Wiginton Fire Systems has been a leader in the fire protection industry for over 55 years, completing installations in more than 30 states. We value hard work and fun, with most of our employees having tenures of 10 years or more.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Strong knowledge of materials, tools, equipment, and installation procedures, including NFPA Standards </li><li>Physical stamina for laborious and strenuous work, including overtime up to 25 hours per week if necessary </li><li>Minimum of 4 years of fire sprinkler installation experience, preferably as a foreman </li><li>Excellent communication, training, and planning skills </li><li>Integrity, organizational ability, and enjoyment of independent and outdoor work </li><li>Valid driver's license meeting all Insurance Carrier requirements </li><li>Certified state/federally accredited Journeyman (preferred) </li></ul> <p>Non-qualified applicants will not be contacted.
