<p>The business analyst position is assigned to the Church Online Store area of the Inform Team, which provides development and support of the Church's Online Store. This analytical-driven role will help in the support of informing Church members worldwide of products on the Online Store and continually improving the online customer experience.</p> <p>This role supports existing business processes and the identification, analysis, definition, and testing of new and expanded Online Store functionality, corrective action(s) to existing processes, and the refinement of processes and procedures to achieve performance improvements.</p> <p>The analyst considers processes that span multiple work groups within major sections of Church administration with the ability to work between high-level overviews down to detailed work-level tasks and steps, while maintaining an understanding of how the processes, applications systems, hard and soft tools, and people involved contribute to members and unit leaders making and keeping temple covenants with God.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Continuous improvement of user experience for Online Store customers. Conduct regular audits of website analytics for user behavior and create business cases for enhancing Online Store services and experiences to simplify worldwide access to Church products.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide Online Store product availability troubleshooting and analysis for problem determination, including solution recommendations.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in the design and development of the Online Store product, including the design, testing and implementation of process solutions, user experiences, and policies.</p> </li><li> <p>Special projects and research assigned by division management that requires product data base queries and data compilation and analysis for selected small work groups; work one on one to resolve issues unique to that individual group.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide basic training instruction to systems users as developed by team management; write procedures for less complex issues for the users manual.</p> </li><li> <p>A bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or a related field, with four years of production of related professional experience, is required.</p> </li><li> <p>Production/Professional experience should include business and systems analysis, process design and a thorough understanding of general desktop computing, including database and spreadsheet functionality.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience dealing with problem-solving techniques, statistic compilation, and presentation skills is expected.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with Adobe Analytics, Microsoft D365, and Power BI is preferred but not required.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be familiar with Six Sigma or continuous improvement practices or be willing to attend training in the first year of employment to better understand these principles.</p> </li></ul>
