Applicants must hold or be eligible for a valid State of Connecticut teaching certificate with 029 Mathematics, 4-12 endorsement.</p> <p>The Math Teacher for Torrington High School is responsible for delivering standards-based instruction in mathematics, which may include courses ranging from Algebra I to advanced electives such as Pre-Calculus or Statistics. They design lessons that promote problem-solving, critical thinking, and mathematical reasoning while meeting the diverse learning needs of students.
