<p>Full Time</p> <p>RESIDENTIAL-INVENTORCORE-60231</p> <p>5300 KidsPeace Drive</p> <p>Technical/Professional</p> <p>Day/Evening with weekends/OT as needed</p> <p>The Community Living Clinician ensures that all youth develop life skills and obtain tools and resources needed to be successful in reintegration back into the community.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services or related field required. Master's degree in Vocational Rehabilitation preferred. </li><li>Experience working children and adolescents in a mental and/or behavioral health setting preferred. </li><li>Prior experience providing clinical services required, prior experience with providing Life Skills Preferred. </li><li>Valid driver's license required. </li></ul> <p>JOB DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in the performance of and observation of restraints as necessary when ordered by a licensed professional using the current approved KidsPeace restraint methodology on youth who may weigh in excess of 250 pounds and who are physically threatening or otherwise presenting a threat to themselves or others. </li><li>Maintain client files in compliance with KidsPeace Quality Assurance standards as well as those external licensing and regulatory bodies. </li><li>Provide on and off-ground enrichment and community living activities as applicable to youth. </li><li>Develop and maintain a vocational resource guide for clients, parents, and staff. </li><li>Maintain regular communication with internal and external customers and provide psycho education as necessary to appropriate customers. </li><li>Ensure completion of Life Skills assessment and incorporate into the Treatment Plan. </li><li>Participate in treatment planning, discharge and aftercare planning as required. </li><li>Organize and facilitate group independent living sessions in the assigned program. </li></ul> <p>KidsPeace is proud to be an equal opportunity employer supporting workforce diversity</p>
