<p>Engineering Technician</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>As an Engineering Technician, you will build and test complex mechanical and electrical systems within a cleanroom environment. You will support process improvements, engineering testing, lean initiatives, and quality improvements.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Produce products in accordance with established specifications and report ongoing issues in product construction or operation. </li><li>Support problem-solving efforts and contribute to product and process improvements. </li><li>Manufacture and deliver complex systems following established procedures and solve technical problems as they arise. </li><li>Oversee the entire process from assembly to testing and serve as a reference for problem-solving. </li><li>Actively contribute to the pilot production process and transition to volume production. </li><li>Develop and improve Technical Product Data (TPD), processes, and records. </li><li>Investigate the impact of new procedures on the production process and suggest product improvements. </li><li>Acquire and pass on knowledge of products, processes, modifications, sub-modules, and systems. </li><li>Support teamwork by seeking solutions and implementing departmental tasks. </li><li>Coordinate production plan activities and monitor tool, material, and equipment use. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in blueprint reading, mechanical and electrical assembly. </li><li>Experience in lean manufacturing, engineering, kaizen, and process improvement. </li><li>Skills in testing, prototyping, hand tools, troubleshooting, and electronics. </li><li>Ability to analyze schematics and use test equipment. </li><li>Strong computer skills. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>AS or BS Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemical, or equivalent experience preferred. </li><li>Manufacturing internship or co-op experience. </li><li>Lean Manufacturing Training (e.g., Intro to Lean, 5S, Kaizen, VSM) preferred. </li><li>Mechanical skills. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The position offers multiple shifts, including 3rd Shift (10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Sunday to Thursday) with a 15% shift differential, and CWW Nights with daily overtime and a 15% shift differential. CWW Nights N1 includes Week 1: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (6 PM to 6 AM) and Week 2: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday. CWW Nights N2 includes Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday (6 PM to 6 AM) and Week 2: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday. The role is based in a cleanroom environment. Training for all shifts and offers is likely to be on 1st or 2nd Shift for 4-6 weeks.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job</p> <p>classification and length of employment.
