Located in our Siloam Springs, AR plant, you will be a Maintenance Planner.</p> <p>The Maintenance Planner is responsible for executing all maintenance work and ensuring efficient and effective use of resources by planning and scheduling maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the role involves managing work priorities, developing job plans, defining required parts, and engaging the necessary resources to create safe, effective, and efficient work plans. Additionally, the Maintenance Planner provides guidance on improving preventive maintenance activities to optimize equipment performance and reliability.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities (To Name A Few)</p> <ul> <li>Review all planned work requests from assigned areas and verify the accuracy of information, engaging appropriate resources to set preliminary priorities. </li><li>Schedule daily planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance activities. </li><li>Issue scheduled work orders to technicians and address any questions. </li><li>Plan plant shutdowns and outages accordingly. </li><li>Schedule parts, tools, and services orders based on production and maintenance schedules, and coordinate the delivery of parts, services, and equipment. </li><li>Gather quotes for parts and services, assist in vendor/contractor selection, and act as the primary contact for vendors/contractors. </li><li>Work with accounting and receiving departments on invoices and receipts. </li><li>Compile downtime and other maintenance metric data for reporting. </li><li>Track IPP and general maintenance expenditures in line with the budget. </li><li>Control inventory of assigned products/materials, including spare parts, per management goals. </li><li>Prepare work orders and issue correct parts. </li><li>Verify parts and material shipments against packing slips. </li><li>Perform cycle counts and maintain materials and inventory operations. </li><li>Locate and retrieve parts requested by maintenance personnel. </li><li>Organize and maintain parts room and supplies under supervisor's direction. </li><li>Provide customer service for vendors and employees, assisting with part checkouts. </li><li>Maintain computer database/spreadsheets for parts room supplies. </li><li>Perform data entry for parts room supply information and handle filing tasks. </li><li>Continuously perform tasks safely, adhering to established safety rules and procedures, and take immediate action to correct or report unsafe conditions and hazards. </li><li>Keep work area clean and organized, following all applicable procedures. </li></ul> <p>About You</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree preferred </li><li>3 years of progressive planning, purchasing, and/or maintenance experience </li><li>Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) </li><li>Familiarity with Oracle and Infor systems </li><li>Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship </li></ul> <p>Pay And Benefits</p> <ul> <li> <p>Full-Time</p> </li><li> <p>Medical, Dental, Vision insurance and other voluntary benefit options:</p> </li><li> <p>Benefits begin on the first day of the month immediately following your date of hire</p> </li><li> <p>Eligible for 3 weeks of paid vacation, additionally 8 sick days</p> </li><li> <p>11 paid holidays</p> </li><li> <p>401(k): company matching up to 6%</p> </li><li> <p>Tuition Reimbursement</p> </li><li> <p>Employee Discounts</p> </li></ul> <p>WHY GATES?</p> <p>Founded in 1911 in Denver, Colorado, Gates is publicly traded on the NYSE.
