IMT is looking for an individual who possesses strong interpersonal skills and communicates effectively with internal and external customers. The ideal applicant must be driven, eager to learn through continuous learning opportunities, and have excellent customer service skills to adhere to our agents needs and the departments customer service standards. If youre interested in learning more about this opportunity, apply online today!</p> <p>A DAY IN THE LIFE</p> <ul> <li>Provide professional customer service to internal and external customers. </li><li>Responsible for telephone and written communication to clarify information needed to process items correctly. </li><li>Process all types of transactions for all commercial lines of business, including renewals, amendments, cancellations, new business, quotations and any other transactions. </li><li>Orders reports and obtains information as determined by underwriting staff, such as loss control reports and motor vehicle reports. </li><li>Provides general support to the underwriting staff with miscellaneous duties such as sending correspondence to the agent, assist with obtaining needed information, and maintaining file organization. </li><li>Responsible for correspondence as needed. </li><li>Work under general supervision, a limited degree of creativity and latitude is required. </li></ul> <p>DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Detail oriented including ability to concentrate on work activities (e.g., keying and proofing). </li><li>Possesses strong organizational, time management, and prioritizing skills. </li><li>Basic knowledge of underwriting terminology. </li><li>Good written and verbal communication skills with strong customer service skills and phone etiquette required. </li><li>Ability to use computerized rating and policy issuance systems, Microsoft Office Products and function in a personal computer network environment. </li><li>Ability to problem solve and use critical thinking skills to analyze and make decisions on complex situations. </li><li>A high school diploma or equivalency is needed to perform normal functions. </li></ul> <p>BENEFITS & PERKS</p> <p>IMT Insurance is committed to our employees and their families.
