<p>Work Flexibility: Onsite</p> <p>Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm</p> <p>Overtime may be required to support business needs</p> <p>What you will do</p> <p>As a Senior Research and Development (R&D) Technician, you will provide technical support on a variety of products for Stryker Inari. In this position, you will work independently and with project teams, technicians, engineers, and scientists in the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment. Additionally, in this role you will:</p> <ul> <li>Assist engineers in developing work instructions and assist in validating new processes </li><li>Act as a technical leader and lead cross-functional training for new processes, materials, test methods and prototypes </li><li>Analyze data, calculate statistics, and provides input to product test reports </li><li>Actively participate in project team meetings; coordinating and monitoring project task execution and project progress against deliverables </li><li>Identify and acquire necessary supplies, materials, equipment, and tools for specific projects, interacting with vendors as necessary </li><li>Become experts on use of complex test equipment, train staff on its operations, and confirm required calibration or preventative maintenance </li><li>Build quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements </li><li>Use sound technical judgement in making independent decisions </li><li>Ensure products are tested to the most current/validated method/process and specification and documentation is correctly completed per Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) to adhere to quality standards </li></ul> <p>What you need</p> <p>Required</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED/equivalent </li><li>At least 3 years of related technical experience </li><li>Experience with building/manufacturing catheters (especially experiences with coiling/braiding/laser welding are a plus) </li><li>Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 35 pounds </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>Associates or Bachelors degree with focus in engineering or a technical science is a plus </li><li>5 or more years of experience working with prototyping or research and development; experiences with creating prototype drawings is a plus </li><li>Direct experience utilizing test or measurement equipment (ex. calipers, oscilloscopes, and multimeters) </li><li>Proficiency with catheter manufacturing equipment such as lamination machines, hotbox, tipping/flaring tools, leak testers, and Instron systems </li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively support cross-functional teams </li></ul> <p>$32.22-44.57 per hour plus bonus eligible + benefits.
