The company also operates AMC Studios, our in-house studio, production, and distribution operation behind acclaimed and fan-favorite originals including The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and AMC Networks International, our international programming business.</p> <p>We are currently seeking a VP, Pricing & Planning to join our Pricing & Inventory and Direct Response team based in our New York, NY office.</p> <p>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with sales teams to deliver customized solutions that align with client goals while also maximizing yield </li><li>Develop and implement pricing strategies that align with marketplace demand and internal goals </li><li>Collaborate with Sales, Inventory, Ad Operations, Product, and Finance to ensure alignment across goals and execution </li><li>Manage the creation and evolution of rate cards, pricing guidelines, and packaging strategies. Work with alternative currencies </li><li>Oversee training and development of a high performing Sales Planning team </li><li>Accelerate evolution of AMCN Ad Sales to advanced audience-based products across digital and linear end points </li><li>Stay abreast of advancements in advanced advertising/addressable, as well as alternative currencies to increase ad efficacy and drive revenue growth </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)</p> <ul> <li>10+ years of experience in media pricing, planning or revenue operations in a media or broadcast environment </li><li>Proven experience in leading and developing large teams </li><li>Strong understanding of both Linear and Digital/Addressable advertising ecosystem </li><li>Experience working with platforms such as Wide Orbit, Boostr, Freewheel </li><li>Strategic and analytical thinker with excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills </li><li>Deep knowledge of sales planning, pricing and inventory optimization </li><li>Bachelor's degree required </li></ul> <p>The base compensation for this position is $200,000 to $220,000 commensurate with experience.
