<p>Job Summary</p> <p>Oversees strategy development and executive of Cleveland State University (CSU) athletic activities in academics, sports medicine, health and wellness, strength and conditioning, and student-athlete development. Works with general counsel with administration of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) compliance monitoring and education. Responsible for administrative oversight of multiple varsity sport programs. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree preferably in sports management, business, or related field. </li><li>Five (5) years of multi-unit experience in intercollegiate athletics, or professional sports in student-athlete welfare, facilities, or the business office, of which two (2) of the five (5) years must be in supervisory or leadership role. </li><li>Valid driver's license and ability to establish and maintain driver eligibility under CSU's Driving and Motor Vehicle Policy. </li><li>Ability to travel and work evening and weekend hours as required. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree preferably in sports management, business, or related field. </li><li>Experience delivering impactful operational practices for a Division I, NCAA athletics program. </li><li>Experience serving as a sport supervisor, including proactive management of Title IX, institutional equity, and student-athlete code of conduct matters. </li><li>Experience at multiple levels of NCAA divisions. </li></ul>
