Our maintenance team plays a critical role in ensuring product quality, uptime, and safe operations.</p> <p>Who You Are</p> <p>We are seeking a technically strong Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to support our freeze drying and packaging operations. This role requires a well-rounded technician who is confident in both mechanical and electrical systems and capable of working independently in a rapidly growing production environment. You will be responsible for maintaining highly automated production systems and supporting operational reliability through structured troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Equipment Reliability & Preventative Maintenance</p> <ul> <li>Perform scheduled and precision preventative maintenance on production equipment and facility systems </li><li>Inspect, adjust, lubricate, and calibrate machinery to maintain optimal performance </li><li>Identify developing issues before they become downtime events </li><li>Accurately document maintenance activity and findings </li></ul> <p>Advanced Troubleshooting & Repair</p> <ul> <li>Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system failures </li><li>Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, VFDs, and motor control systems </li><li>Read and interpret schematics and technical documentation </li><li>Perform structured root cause analysis to prevent repeat failures </li><li>Respond to production issues with urgency and professionalism </li></ul> <p>Installation & Continuous Improvement</p> <ul> <li>Assist with equipment installation, modification, and upgrades </li><li>Support automation adjustments and calibration </li><li>Contribute to reliability improvements and process optimization </li></ul> <p>Compliance & Operational Standards</p> <ul> <li>Adhere to all food safety, GMP, and OSHA requirements </li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work environment </li><li>Follow established safety protocols and report hazards immediately </li></ul> <p>Collaboration & Communication</p> <ul> <li>Work closely with production and leadership teams </li><li>Communicate equipment conditions and repair plans clearly </li><li>Maintain accurate maintenance records </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>We are seeking a technician who takes pride in technical capability and accountability.</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred) </li><li>3-5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience </li><li>Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability </li><li>Experience with PLC-controlled equipment, VFDs, and HMIs </li><li>Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings </li><li>Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience</p> <ul> <li>Food manufacturing or regulated production environments </li><li>Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and Lean/TPM principles </li><li>Basic welding and fabrication skills </li><li>Familiarity with refrigeration systems </li><li>Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This position operates in a GMP-regulated food manufacturing facility.
