These families have put their dreams in our hands, and you can as well.</p> <p>The Mortgage Real Estate Compliance and Regulatory Attorney is responsible for providing legal and regulatory guidance related to mortgage origination and affiliated real estate lending activities. This role supports mortgage banking and related operations by ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations, mitigating regulatory risk, and advising on policy development, regulatory examinations, and business initiatives. The position works closely with internal stakeholders and parent homebuilder partners to address the unique compliance considerations of builder-affiliated mortgage operations.</p> <p>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. </li><li>Active bar membership in good standing. </li><li>Minimum of 5-10+ years of experience practicing law in mortgage banking, consumer financial services, real estate finance, or regulatory compliance, either in-house or at a law firm focused on financial services. </li><li>In-depth knowledge of federal mortgage and consumer protection laws and regulations, including TILA, RESPA, ECOA, HMDA, UDAAP, and CFPB rules. </li><li>Experience advising on regulatory examinations, enforcement matters, or remediation programs. </li><li>Strong understanding of mortgage loan origination, servicing, and real estate finance transactions. </li></ul> <p>Our commitment</p> <p>K.
