<p>Job Description:</p> <p>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Be responsible for duties assigned by the Head Track & Field Coach. </li><li>Teach proper skills and techniques </li><li>Act professionally when communicating with players, coaches, media and individuals in the community. </li><li>Attend practices and meets as assigned by the Head Coach. </li><li>Be knowledgeable of the college's policies and procedures on recruiting, academic programs and philosophy of athletic programs. </li><li>Have an operational understanding of National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) rules and requirements. </li><li>Assist Head Coach with recruiting qualified student-athletes to Onondaga Community College. </li><li>Understand that the Head Coach is responsible for dealing with vendors and fundraisers. </li><li>Be responsible for the players and assignments in the absence of the Head Coach. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, university or foreign equivalency </li><li>Prior coaching experience in the sport, preferably at the secondary or post-secondary level; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>This is a part-time position and the pay is $5,000.</p> <p>Application Instructions:</p> <ul> <li>To be considered, please submit a resume and cover letter at time of application, including availability to teach. </li><li>The three (3) references listed on the application must be professional references, and one of those must be a current or previous supervisor.
