<p>Why do we need you ?</p> <p>What's the job?</p> <p>This role could also sit remotely</p> <p>This role drives Quality excellence across IPG by setting and sustaining plant testing standards, strengthening quality systems, and closing gaps identified through Quality Step 0 assessments. It partners with Product Development on new product and standards testing needs, leads system updates, and provides expert training on modern testing methods. The position supports Advanced Manufacturing with MSA verification to reinforce data-driven processes and manages the business's MOC process. It collaborates with central and plant teams to link product performance to upstream process variables, building capability and stability. The role also provides leadership to Insulation and Arc/Ceiling quality champions and serves as the Gypsum Quality Champion.</p> <ul> <li>Lead and develop direct and indirect quality teams, ensuring plants maintain proper quality processes, Step 0 compliance, regulatory testing, and in-process controls. </li><li>Maintain the Management of Change (MOC) process and support quality systems, product claims, and collaboration with Product Development and R&D. </li><li>Set and drive the overall Quality strategy for the NA IPG BU, creating route maps that shift the organization from end-product control to proactive upstream process and conditions management. </li><li>Support plants in understanding and acting on Voice of the Customer insights. </li><li>Identify, promote, and implement best practices in process and quality management. </li><li>Support New Product Development and Innovation initiatives. </li><li>Redesign and deploy a plant-owned Quality & Process Control (QPC) pillar and systems, including: </li><li>Continuous improvement of Quality Step 0Identification and recommendation of QPC best practices </li><li>Alignment and implementation across IPG businesses </li><li>Strengthening upstream process and conditions control </li><li>Own and evolve the Quality Management System (QMS) platforms across IPG. </li><li>Promote quality culture with process control as its essential element </li><li>Provide training, coaching and structured feedback and guidance to Quality & Process Managers </li></ul> <p>Is this job for you ?</p> <p>What do you bring?</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree Mechanical or Chemical Engineering</p> <p>Master's degree Business Administration</p> <p>10+ years Related industrial, manufacturing operations and Quality management</p> <p>5-7 years Direct Quality and Process Management</p> <p>OTHER KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY (all required):</p> <p>Proactive & Independent learning skills, flexible in assuming job assignments.</p> <p>Driven, self-guided, accountable, delivers and promotes stretch performance.</p> <p>Highly organized, documents meeting agendas, actions, trip reports, best practices. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $133,000 to $213,000 per year.</p> <p>However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.</p> <p>In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 17% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $155,600 to $249,200.
