<p>Overview:</p> <p>We are currently hiring experienced Production Managers in Newport News, VA. Multiple openings available, as well as options on both 1st and 2nd shift.</p> <p>Description:</p> <ul> <li>Plans utilization of space and facilities for company consistent with requirements of organizational efficiency, and available facilities and funds. </li><li>Plans, directs and manages all phases of equipment and machinery maintenance, facilities modification and building projects from establishment of design concepts through design and implementation. </li><li>Ensures project requirements are defined, contract and contract changes are negotiated, operating budgets established, and financial terms/conditions of contract are identified. </li><li>Acts as primary contact for facilities, and equipment and machinery maintenance, project activities and leads project reviews of cost, schedule and technical performance. </li><li>Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans, budgets and schedules. </li><li>Identifies problems and develops solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing project scope. </li><li>May coordinate the work of employees assigned to the project. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>US Citizenship. </li><li>BS Degree. </li><li>6 years of relevant experience. </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Warehouse Logistics experience/background. </li><li>Project Management Professional, preferable but not required. </li><li>Computer knowledge </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <ul> <li>5 openings available. </li><li>1st shift: 7:30am-4pm, Monday-Friday. </li><li>2nd shift: 3:30pm-12am, Monday-Friday. </li><li>Pay Rate: $40-$50/hr based on experience. </li><li>Benefits offered. </li></ul> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract position based out of Newport News, VA.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
