Join Taylor Company, a leader in commercial foodservice equipment, as a Design Engineering Lab Technician and be part of a team that brings ideas to life-from concept to production.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Build and test prototype equipment and refrigeration systems. </li><li>Support engineering projects through life cycle, performance, and compliance testing. </li><li>Design and maintain test fixtures and life cycle test stands. </li><li>Collaborate with engineers to evaluate fit, form, and function of new designs. </li><li>Document test procedures and results in formal engineering reports. </li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized lab environment. </li></ul> <p>What You Bring:</p> <ul> <li>Education: Associate degree in science, engineering, or technology. </li><li>Certifications: EPA Section 608 Technician Certification (Type 1 & 2 or Universal). </li><li>Experience: Minimum 1 year in a related technical or lab role. </li></ul> <p>Key Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Refrigeration system fabrication, brazing, and leak detection. </li><li>Electrical wiring, harness building, and troubleshooting. </li><li>Data acquisition, instrumentation setup, and calibration. </li><li>Mechanical assembly, blueprint reading, and basic machining. </li><li>Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and basic computer networking. </li></ul>
