<p>Job Summary</p> <p>To provide effective planning and coordination of Organizational Development (OD) services and training programs and serve as support to groups/organizations desiring leadership, management, or OD services. Works collaboratively with Human Resources, Education, Communications, and other strategic colleagues to ensure development and implementation of key strategies for creating and sustaining individual and organization high performance.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Maintain annual training calendar (including computer training) and assist in coordination of events. Schedule and coordinate programs and activities. Secure the use of internal or external facilities, including meeting rooms, computer equipment, supplies, any logistics, and any meals or related social events. </li><li>Maintain the learning management/registration system. This includes scheduling, invitations, managing registration lists, and day of facilitation needs, including set-up and break down. </li><li>Prepare and submit classroom attendance records; submit pre-work course information to employees, distribute, collect, and review faculty evaluations. </li><li>Update and maintain the learning management/registration system for new features/functions that may be required. Track and report training metrics as requested by CAMC University Leadership. </li><li>Maintain training material inventory and supplies. </li><li>Maintain the CAMC University internal and external website, CAMnet calendar, and Vital Signs information. </li><li>Maintain day-to-day office operations and organization. (Supplies, logistics, office coverage, and managing phones, etc.) </li><li>Maintain, track, and report on development path participants. Prepare and hand deliver certificates to leaders. </li><li>Represent the department/CAMC on a variety of internal/external committees, task forces, and advisory groups in the planning and implementation of educational or organizational development activities if requested. </li><li>Maintain excellent relationships with CAMC and Vandalia Health management, staff, and medical staff in activity development and implementation. Frequently interacts with all employee groups, the community, and business organizations in planning activities. </li><li>Serve as a liaison between customer (learners and CAMC Program planning committees) in meeting customer/educational needs and troubleshooting and communicating concerns. </li><li>Assist in the planning and development of organizational development activities in a variety of formats including live and virtual training opportunities as needed. </li><li>Assist in the development of budgets, contracts with speakers and independent contractors, outside organizations, and vendors or contractors. </li><li>Provide support to CAMC University leadership in the development of required monthly, quarterly, or annual reports. This includes the maintenance and supervision of computer tracking systems that record attendance/credit verification data, and the preparation of required quarterly and annual reports. </li><li>Serve as a representative of CAMC University. </li><li>Assist in the development of strategies for improving performance and maximizing the effectiveness of the organization. </li><li>Conduct organizational, departmental, and work unit needs assessments. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities</p> <p>Patient Group Knowledge (Only applies to positions with direct patient contact)</p> <p>The employee must possess/obtain (by the end of the orientation period) and demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide developmentally appropriate assessment, treatment or care as defined by the department's identified patient ages. Specifically the employee must be able to demonstrate competency in: 1) ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient needs; 2) knowledge of growth and development; and 3) understanding of the range of treatment needed by the patients.</p> <p>Competency Statement</p> <p>Must demonstrate competency through an initial orientation and ongoing competency validation to independently perform tasks and additional duties as specified in the job description and the unit/department specific competency checklist.</p> <p>Common Duties and Responsibilities</p> <p>(Essential duties common to all positions)</p> <ol> <li> <p>Maintain and document all applicable required education.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrate positive customer service and co-worker relations.</p> </li><li> <p>Comply with the company's attendance policy.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in the continuous, quality improvement activities of the department and institution.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform work in a cost effective manner.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform work in accordance with all departmental pay practices and scheduling policies, including but not limited to, overtime, various shift work, and on-call situations.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform work in alignment with the overall mission and strategic plan of the organization.</p> </li><li> <p>Follow organizational and departmental policies and procedures, as applicable.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform related duties as assigned.</p> </li></ol> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree (Required) </li></ul> <p>Experience: 2-4 years of experience planning and coordinating development initiatives.</p> <p>Substitution: Associate's degree w/ 3-5 yrs. exp. planning & coordinating development initiatives OR High School Diploma w/ 5-7 years of planning, coordinating, office management, marketing, or other related experience may substitute for Bachelor's degree</p> <p>Credentials</p> <ul> <li>Drivers License (Required) </li></ul> <p>Work Schedule: Days</p> <p>Status: 40 hrs per pay</p> <p>Location: Chesterfield Bldg 4-Center for Learning & Research</p> <p>Location of Job: US:WV:Charleston</p> <p>Talent Acquisition Specialist: Tamara B.
