We are seeking caring team members willing and able to commit to our workplace values: Respect, Commitment, Fulfillment, Empathy and Fun!</p> <p>Three Pillars seeks a vibrant, friendly multitasker to become our newest Weekend Concierge at our Village on the Square Independent Living Community. As member of our amazing Concierge team, your main focus will be on providing an exceptional experience for all you encounter - including the residents, family members, visitors, guests, and coworkers!</p> <p>You'll be on your feet often as you support our residents in living their best lives. Your superior customer service skills will shine at all times, and you'll provide limited clerical/receptionist support. With a desk and presence in our main entrance area, you'll be a go-to person for our residents, families, guests, and coworkers - welcoming them, answering questions, and helping them navigate our campus as needed.</p> <p>As part of this team, you will get to know the residents and their family members very well, engaging socially with them, supporting them during their residency, and anticipating needs whenever possible. You will answer questions, help with faxing or copying, assist them with requesting a room for a private party, and more. Your administrative support may include computer work such as communicating via email, checking room reservations, collating or assembling paperwork, and facilitating deliveries to residents. You'll greet callers on the phone and be the first to welcome people who visit the building.</p> <p>No two days are the same as a Concierge - we can't wait to welcome you to the team so you can write your own story!</p> <p>What will I do as a Concierge?</p> <ul> <li>Warmly welcoming and assisting visitors with our sign-in kiosk and process, opening the doors, providing directions, and answering questions. </li><li>Helping with deliveries to resident apartments (packages, flyers, etc) </li><li>Assisting residents with activities and tasks such as signing up for programs or outings on our online portal, providing reminders or transportation to and from on-campus programs, assisting residents with day-to-day needs that are not care-related, and more. </li><li>Communicating regularly on the phone and via Microsoft Outlook email and calendars </li><li>Providing administrative/clerical support for the building and coworkers that may include managing the digital display screen in the lobby via our content system, updating lists or collaborating in shared files, creating guest lodging or room reservations, and more. </li><li>Light housekeeping in common areas </li><li>Helping with breakfast and launch meal service in dining rooms. </li></ul> <p>What is required in the Concierge position?</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or G.E.D. </li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office and PC computers </li><li>2-3 years' experience in an office setting or the hospitality industry, preferred </li><li>Ability to sit, stand, bend and push frequently </li><li>Ability to lift objects weighing up to 30 pounds occasionally </li><li>Ability to walk throughout building as needed on a daily basis </li><li>Able to handle hostile or emotionally upset residents </li><li>Read, write, and speak English fluently </li><li>Good problem solving and organizational skills </li><li>Must be able to work independently </li></ul> <p>What makes Three Pillars Senior Living Communities unique?</p> <p>At Three Pillars Senior Living Communities, sponsored by the Masonic Fraternity, our mission is to take pride in meeting the social, physical, and spiritual needs of older adults through high quality housing and services.</p> <p>Three Pillars Senior Living Communities has served our community since 1905.
