Your adventure begins now-unleash your potential with MANTECH!</p> <p>MANTECH seeks a driven and mission-focused Cyber Software Developer to join our elite team based in Herndon, VA.</p> <p>In this role, you will contribute directly to innovative projects that support the Intelligence Community, helping to protect our country from emerging threats. This position offers the chance to grow your expertise alongside talented Software Developers, Data Engineers, and System Engineers while pioneering solutions that make a national impact.</p> <p>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Understand requirements and design and develop software components. </li><li>Research software concepts, develop, and demo proof-of-concepts. </li><li>Collaborate with team members to understand current product features. </li><li>Develop automated unit and integration tests. </li><li>Participate in code reviews and engage in the project's agile development process. </li><li>Effectively communicate with fellow developers and occasionally with end-users. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED </li><li>6+ years of software development experience. </li><li>3+ years of experience developing with Python. </li><li>Experience in front-end / full stack development </li><li>Experience in SQL and database management. </li><li>Experience with Version Control Systems such as Git. </li><li>Experience with containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes. </li><li>Knowledge of RESTful API development and integration. </li><li>Understanding of Linux/Unix operating system environments. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or equivalent field. </li><li>Experience with Agile development methodologies, daily SCRUM, and JIRA. </li><li>Professional experience working with Node.js. </li><li>Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI. </li><li>Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS or Azure. </li></ul> <p>Clearance Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>An active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph is required for this position. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. </li><li>Must occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. </li></ul> <p>MANTECH considers all qualified applicants for employment without regard to disability or veteran status or any other status protected under any federal, state, or local law or regulation.</p> <p>If you need a reasonable accommodation to apply for a position with MANTECH, please email us at careers@mantech.com and provide your name and contact information.</p>
