All while understanding that together we are even better.</p> <p>Schedule: Full Time</p> <p>Shift : Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.</p> <p>Location: Seminole, Orange and Osceola Counties.</p> <p>The role youll contribute:</p> <p>The Assistant Admissions Manager is responsible for identifying patient/family/caregiver needs and providing nursing and supportive care in accordance with the plan of care, and policies and procedures. In addition, this position will provide oversight of the Patient access staff in the absence of the Admissions Manager.</p> <p>The value youll bring to the team:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assists the admissions manager in providing overall direction of the operations related to Admissions/Referrals</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains knowledge and communicates to staff regarding policies and procedures required to comply with federal, state and local guidelines as well as Medicare, Medicaid and insurance reimbursement requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Interprets requirements to determine eligibility when a unique or questionable case is referred</p> </li><li> <p>Communicates with Clinical Services and Admissions Department leadership to determine and coordinate staffing levels</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborates with the Admissions Manager to oversee the referrals process to ensure each telephone call regarding a patient referral for hospice services is appropriately answered and processed</p> </li><li> <p>Communicates with other healthcare providers regarding referrals including doctors, hospitals, assisted living facilities and skilled nursing facilities</p> </li></ul> <p>The expertise and experience youll need to succeed :</p> <p>Minimum qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Associate's of Nursing</p> </li><li> <p>3 year Related Experience</p> </li><li> <p>Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.</p> </li><li> <p>nursing experience including some hospice and/or home health care nursing.</p> </li><li> <p>Certified Hospice and Palliative RN (CHPN) Cert</p> </li><li> <p>Active American Heart Association BLS</p> </li><li> <p>Registered Nurse State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure In Florida</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's of Nursing</p> </li><li> <p>1 year supervisory experience</p> </li></ul> <p>This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
