<p>Please note that this role requires a hybrid presence out of our Worcester, MA office.</p> <p>IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate, organize and support efforts to represent Hanover Insurance favorably within and outside of the organization </li><li>Support and/or plans programs that promote goodwill/good corporate citizenship and fosters relationships with external community leaders and internal stakeholders </li><li>Support the programs of the Hanover Insurance Group Foundation </li><li>Support and plays a role in leading employee/community programs (e.g. United Way, Employee outings etc.) </li><li>Oversee the recruiting, training, and scheduling of volunteers to meet the needs of outside organizations/agencies or inside employee-related programs or events. </li><li>Participate in project work that may include but is not limited to planning, requirements gathering, workflow documentation, process efficiency assessment, data analysis, research, presentation of recommendations, or implementation </li><li>Create and present a final presentation for management and leadership members at the close of the internship program highlighting the work you accomplished throughout the summer. </li></ul> <p>WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY:</p> <ul> <li>Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred </li><li>Ability to commit to a full time 10 week internship program </li><li>Ability to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future </li><li>0-2 years of professional working experience </li><li>Ability to collaborate with peers to ensure processes are efficient </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Critical thinking/problem solving skills and analytical mindset </li><li>Excellent time management and multitasking skills. </li></ul>
