Our Second Assistant Manager supports leadership by managing day-to-day operations of the station, leading the team, and ensuring a smooth, friendly emission testing experience.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist with opening and closing facility. </li><li>Conduct emission tests on customer vehicles. </li><li>Oversee lane operations by monitoring traffic flow and wait times. </li><li>Perform system overrides and troubleshoot issues as needed. </li><li>Assist in the training and mentoring of new lane inspectors through the onboarding process. </li><li>Clearly communicate to customers to explain the testing process and test results. </li><li>Report safety concerns, policy violations, or suspicious activity to the Station Manager. </li><li>Creating a clean and professional environment to keep our station clean and welcoming. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Supervisory experience is preferred, but not required </li><li>Completion of certification training program for emissions testing </li><li>Previous customer service and cash-handling experience required </li><li>Friendly, professional communication skills </li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail </li><li>Frequent standing, bending, reaching, pulling and stooping (up to 90% of the time) </li><li>Comfortable with outdoor temperatures and able to lift up to 20 lbs. </li></ul>
