<p>Software Engineer III - Clinical Platforms</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Design and implement the core architecture of our product </li><li>Provide technical guidance and drive best practices for development, code review, testing, and deployment that will ensure the shipment of quality code into production </li><li>Specify and implement clean, efficient APIs across the stack (internal, external, REST, GraphQL, etc.) </li><li>Work closely with product managers, user interface designers, TPM and other teams to build a complete solution </li><li>Deeply understand our code and how it interacts with the real world. Help others understand it too </li><li>Review and respond to operational issues, escalating as necessary </li><li>Enjoy mentoring other engineers </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Exposure to Computer Science and Engineering as a discipline. A BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, or equivalent experience </li><li>5-8 years of industry experience working with web application development, preferably Django </li><li>5-8 years of industry experience in a high-level language, preferably Python </li><li>Relational database systems experience, such as PostgreSQL </li><li>Experience with third-party system integration and API design. Electronic medical record (EMR), Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR), or electronic data interchange (EDI) experience a plus </li><li>Experience "Vibe Coding" and managing AI Agents such as GPT, Claude, or Cursor </li><li>Experience with Unix, Git, and other command line tools </li><li>Demonstrated expertise in development processes and tools </li><li>Strong software engineering fundamentals: design, testing, version control </li><li>Significant independent programming experience as demonstrated by a GitHub account, personal web page, or prior experience </li></ul> <p>Required</p> <ul> <li> <p>U.S. citizen or national</p> </li><li> <p>Green Card holder</p> </li><li> <p>Living full time in the USA</p> </li></ul> <p>We take geographic location into account when determining base salary to ensure equitable and competitive compensation.</p> <p>#LI-KO1</p>
