<p>The equity front office development role requires an experienced senior engineer/architecture, with a proven track record of delivering scalable, high-performance systems. The successful candidate will be part of a global team working on our GETS platform for the growing equity business. The ideal candidate would demonstrate a passion for software development and be familiar with the recent trends in technology. We're looking for a person who works well on a team but is capable of independently accomplishing tasks of significant scope and complexity. Excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work quickly and effectively under time pressure are expected.</p> <p>Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Front office trading technology development for Equity Trading </li><li>Working actively on implementing equity-based order life cycle including trading, booking and allocation </li><li>Designing and supporting messaging frameworks like Kafka and Quick FIX </li><li>Engaging with trading teams and quants to gather requirement and assist with development and support of equity business related solutions </li><li>The ability to work and communicate well with the regional/global team including business users on daily basis </li><li>Partnering with L1/L2 teams for day-to-day support of applications </li></ul> <p>Skills required:</p> <ul> <li>Domain experience of front-office equity trading. </li><li>Experience in development & support of global equity trading applications (minimum 5 to 7 years) </li><li>Java - expert level, looking for a highly technical developer (Core Java) </li><li>Strong database skills/experience (SQL Server) and in memory cache like GridGain/Ignite is a plus </li><li>Solid business knowledge in areas of trading and quantitative models. </li><li>Experience in working with market data </li><li>Strong networking fundamentals and experience building low latency messaging based applications </li><li>Looking for someone who has worked in a capacity with high intensity and attentiveness to trading environment </li></ul> <p>Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $200,000 - $250,000.</p>
